Print QuotasPrint quotas are a debit system that keeps track of how many pages any student user prints. How does it work? As users of the Geography labs you have paid a sum of money that "buys" you a certain allotment of printed pages. The cost and number of pages are determined at the beginning of each semester. The system keeps track of how many pages you have printed based on the amount of money that you have paid. When your allotted number of pages reaches zero, you are denied permission to print, and you must refill your account in order to continue printing. Printing to the color printers "costs" more pages due to the higher costs of color print supplies. For example, printing one page to a black and white printer subtracts exactly one page from your account whereas printing one color page subtracts exactly two pages from your account. You will receive email notification when your account becomes low.

Increase Print BalanceIf you paid a course lab fee, you are all set to go. If you have not paid a course lab fee or want to add money, make a check out to the Department of Geography for the amount you require and leave it in the box of Youliang Qiu. Be sure to include your CLAS username on your check (no password!). If you are a teach assistant, you will receive $30 per semester. |
