Overview and Prospects: This certificate program is intended for students seeking employment as climatologists, broadcast meteorologists, water district managers, those interested in environmental issues, or to prepare for graduate studies in climatology or environmental sciences. Students will participate in data collection and analysis, develop conversational skills through maps and forecast discussions which include proper terminology, and learn about weather patterns at local to global spatial scales and hourly to multiple year time scales.
